Enterprise Architect

Our client, a leading enterprise services organization, is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join their team. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be part of the architecture and technology strategy function, supporting cross-functional teams that shape how the enterprise operates and evolves. The ideal candidate will bring strong influencing and advisory skills, deep expertise in architecture governance, and the ability to translate business goals into a clear enterprise architecture vision and transformation roadmap.

Location: Hybrid (Toronto office and ability to attend onsite 2–3 times per week)

What's the Job?

• Lead the development and communication of enterprise architecture frameworks aligned to business goals and technology capabilities.
• Define and implement enterprise architecture strategies and operating models, including a compelling enterprise architecture vision, target state, and transformation roadmap.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture solutions support strategic initiatives and deliver measurable value.
• Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on the enterprise landscape.
• Provide advanced guidance to cross-functional teams to elevate architecture standards, improve delivery quality, and influence decision-making through well-founded recommendations.

What's Needed?

• Expert proficiency in Architecture Governance.
• Recommended: Expert proficiency in Application Strategy.
• Suggested: Expert proficiency in Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP), Enterprise Architecture Strategy, Technology Architecture Blueprint & Roadmap Definition, and Technology Assessment.
• Strong influencing and advisory skills, with the ability to engage multiple teams and hold responsibility for team decisions.
• Experience providing solutions that apply across multiple teams and addressing business area challenges.
