Sr. Maximo Developer

Our client is seeking a Sr. Maximo Developer to join their team. As a Sr. Maximo Developer, you will be part of the Maximo development effort supporting enterprise asset management modernization and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, the ability to translate complex requirements into reliable Maximo solutions, and the drive to deliver quality through testing and cutover readiness.

Location: Remote (Toronto, ON; mostly remote)

Pay Range: $80

What's the Job?

• Lead IBM Maximo development activities, including Maximo 7.6.x to MAS upgrade work and ongoing enhancements.
• Design and implement solutions across Maximo Manage/MAS 9.x, including MBO framework development, Application Designer configuration, database configuration, workflows, escalations, and Start Centers.
• Build and maintain automation scripts using Python/Jython, including converting prior Java customizations into MAS-supported configurations and automation approaches.
• Deliver integration capabilities using MIF, REST APIs, OSLC, Enterprise Services, and Publish Channels, ensuring reliable data flow and system interoperability.
• Support end-to-end delivery activities such as migrating custom applications, workflows, scripts, and security configurations, and participating in SIT, UAT, and cutover readiness.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of IBM Maximo development experience, including at least one Maximo 7.6.x to MAS upgrade.
• Strong expertise in Maximo Manage/MAS 9.x, including automation scripts (Python/Jython), MBO Framework, Application Designer, database configuration, workflows, escalations, and Start Centers.
• Experience converting Java customizations into MAS-supported configurations and automation scripts.
• Strong integration experience with MIF, REST APIs, OSLC, Enterprise Services, and Publish Channels.
• Oracle and Db2 database expertise, including Oracle-to-Db2 migration, plus experience with BIRT reporting and SQL optimization.
