Business Analyst (Banking)

Our client, Banking and Finance is seeking a Business Analyst (Banking) to join their team. As a Business Analyst (Banking), you will be part of the Business Analysis function supporting delivery teams across banking and payments initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and a delivery-focused mindset that aligns successfully in the organization.

This is a full-time contract. 

The duration of the contract is for 6 months with possibility of extension.  

Work is hybrid in Toronto, ON.2, 3 days work from office.  

What's the Job?

• Support medium to large banking and finance projects by applying a broad range of business analysis techniques throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Deliver key requirements artifacts including User Stories, Process Flow Maps, Use Case Specifications, Business and Technical Requirements, Business Rules, and Mock-Ups.
• Perform gap analysis and translate business needs into actionable requirements that support initiation and delivery phases for mid-level to high-level complexity work.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements reflect solid Finance/Banking domain knowledge and align with project goals.
• Provide senior-level business analysis support across SDLC and requirements delivery for banking products and services.

What's Needed?

• 8-10 years of progressive business analysis experience with strong usage of business analysis techniques across banking and finance projects.
• Experience supporting medium to large banking and finance initiatives.
• Solid business knowledge of the Finance/Banking domain 
• Advanced knowledge of technical landscape concepts such as microservices (e.g., Teller Management System, Deposit System) 
• Advanced level knowledge of business analysis, project management, SDLC, and banking products/services; able to support a senior business analyst role throughout delivery
