Job Title

Our client, a leading enterprise organization is seeking a Senior .NET Azure Integration Engineer to join their team. As a Senior .NET Azure Integration Engineer, you will be part of the modernization and integration initiative, supporting the delivery of scalable, cloud-native integration solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET and Azure integration technologies, strong hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and messaging, and the ability to lead secure, high-quality engineering practices in complex enterprise environments.

Job Title: Senior .NET Azure Integration Engineer

Location: Remote (Anywhere in Canada)

Pay Range: $80

Contract Length: ASAP to February 12, 2027, with strong likelihood of extension based on project performance

Work Arrangement: Remote

Time Zone: Central Time business hours required (Pacific Time candidates will also be considered)

Travel: None anticipated

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop enterprise integration solutions using .NET and Azure services, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Architect and implement event-driven systems leveraging Azure Service Bus, distributed systems patterns, and modern engineering best practices.
  • Develop distributed applications using MassTransit, including implementing SAGA patterns and process orchestration for complex workflows.
  • Design, publish, secure, and maintain APIs using Azure API Management (APIM), including authentication and authorization using Azure Entra ID, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and delivery workflows using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep) and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, while ensuring observability with OpenTelemetry and Azure Application Insights.

What's Needed?

  • Senior-level experience developing applications using .NET Framework and/or modern .NET technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MassTransit, including building and integrating message-driven components.
  • Experience designing and implementing SAGA and process orchestration patterns for complex business workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Service Bus and event-driven architecture, including secure integration practices.
  • Experience with Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Entra ID, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure API delivery.

Additional Technical Requirements (Key Tools/Skills)

  • Cosmos DB data modeling and partitioning strategies.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably using Bicep.
  • Strong Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline engineering experience.
  • Experience developing automated integration and end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry and Azure Application Insights for monitoring and observability.
  • Experience working within secure and regulated environments, with strong Secure SDLC practices.
