Test Engineering Supervisor

Our client, MDA is seeking a Test Engineering Supervisor to join their team. As a Test Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of testing activities and coaching the team to ensure that products are tested in accordance with applicable standards, technical specifications, and quality requirements.

What’s the Job?

• Leads multiple engineering teams.
• Reviews program requirements, assesses constraints, and resolves operational conflicts.
• Actively works to improve work methods and production-related processes.
• Advises program managers and functional managers on conflicting resource requirements.
• Assigns production personnel based on the established production schedule.

• Degree in Engineering or a similar degree in an appropriate discipline, Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical technologies involved in the production of space hardware is an asset.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills.
• Career aspirations to manage teams of people in a dynamic environment.
• Experience or interest in developing skills in resource management, negotiation, risk management techniques, and financial reporting.
