Embedded V&V / Low-Level Linux Engineer

Our client, MDA is seeking an Embedded V&V / Low-Level Linux Engineer to join their team. As an Embedded V&V / Low-Level Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for the verification, validation, integration, and troubleshooting of low-level embedded software running on hardware platforms for space and satellite applications.

What’s the Job?
 

• Develop and execute verification and validation activities for low-level embedded software.
• Test embedded software directly on target hardware and flight units.
• Support the integration and testing of embedded Linux software within embedded hardware platforms.
• Validate low-level software components including BSP, bootloader, kernel, device tree, and device drivers.
• Develop and execute software test procedures, test cases, and verification activities. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in embedded software verification and validation.
• Experience testing low-level embedded software on target hardware.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++.
• Experience with Embedded Linux.
