Python Test Software Developer

Our client, MDA is seeking a Python Test Software Developer to join their team. As a Python Test Software Developer, you will be part of the design, develop, test, integrate and deploy software applications using general languages and technologies for the test of various satellite payloads.

Location: Sainte-Anne de Bellevue

What’s the Job?

• Create and modify software applications for EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) targeting satellite payloads.
• Read and understand detailed requirements documents.
• Plan work, provide level-of-effort estimates, and successfully deliver assigned tasks.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document high-quality software development applications.
• Work within an Agile development team using industry best practices.

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test software development.
• Ability to work with an existing codebase.
• Knowledge of multithreading, data sharing, and APIs.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
