Cookie and Advertising Notice
Last updated October 2026
When you visit our sites (“Sites”), we may collect certain information by automated means, such as cookies, web beacons and web server logs. The information we may collect in this manner includes IP address, unique device identifier, browser characteristics, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, information on actions taken on our Sites, dates and times of visits to our Sites and other usage statistics.
A "cookie" is a file that websites send to a visitor's computer or other Internet-connected devices to uniquely identify the visitor's browser or to store information or settings in the browser.
A "web beacon" also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and is used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server. Through these automated collection methods, we may obtain "clickstream data," which is a log of the links and other content on which a visitor clicks while browsing a website.

How We Collect the Information by Automated Means
As you navigate our Sites, we may collect and store information about your interactions with the Sites through cookies and similar technologies. We may combine information collected automatically, such as browser and device information, with other information we hold about you. For example, this may help us determine whether you have opened an email we sent to you.
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences, including being notified when cookies are used or restricting or disabling certain types of cookies. Browsers may also allow you to block cookies entirely, although doing so may affect the functionality of our Sites.
While our Sites do not respond to traditional "Do Not Track" browser signals, we recognize and process Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals where required by applicable law. GPC is a browser-based signal that communicates a user's preference to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the use of personal information for targeted advertising.
Where required by applicable U.S. state privacy laws, we will treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the processing of personal information for targeted advertising for the browser and device from which the signal is received. A GPC signal applies only to the browser or device transmitting the signal and may not apply across different browsers, devices, or offline processing activities.
For more information about GPC, visit Global Privacy Control
Depending on applicable law, we may also obtain your consent via a cookie banner/pop-up, before collecting personal information using cookies or similar automated means.
Providers of third-party apps, tools, widgets and plug-ins on our Sites, such as social media sharing tools, also may use automated means to collect information regarding your interactions with these features. This information is collected directly by the providers of the features and is subject to the privacy policies or notices of these providers. Subject to applicable law, ManpowerGroup is not responsible for these providers' information practices.
How We Use the Information We Collect
We use information collected through cookies, web beacons, pixels, web server logs and other automated means for purposes such as:
- customizing our users' experience of our Sites;
- delivering content tailored to our users' interests and the manner in which our users use our Sites; and
- managing our Sites and other aspects of our business, for example optimization and security.
Changing your Preferences
Cookies are categorized by data protection authorities, based on their purpose. Cookies that are categorized as strictly necessary are exempt from consent and can be placed on your connection to the site.
At any time, you can return to the Privacy Preference Centre to update your cookie preferences relating to any cookies that are not categorized as strictly necessary, by clicking on the Cookie Settings button within the Cookie Settings section of this notice.
Third-Party Cookies
We use third party cookies on our Sites. Details of these third-party cookies, their categorization and their purpose are listed in the Privacy Preference Centre, which you can access by clicking on the Cookie Settings button within the Cookie Settings section of this notice.
Profiling and Interest-Based Advertising
On our Sites, we may collect information about your online activities to provide you with advertising about products and services tailored to your individual interests. We also may obtain information for this purpose from third-party websites on which our ads are served.
You may see certain ManpowerGroup ads on other websites because we engage third-party advertising networks. Through such advertising networks, we can target our messaging to users through demographic, interest-based, behavioral and contextual means. Through the ad networks, we can track your online activities over time by collecting information through automated means, including through the use of third-party cookies, web server logs, pixels and web beacons. The networks use this information to show you advertisements that may be tailored to your individual interests and previous activity. The information our advertising networks may collect on our behalf includes data about your visits to websites that serve ManpowerGroup advertisements, such as the pages or advertisements you view and the actions you take on the websites. This data collection takes place both on our Sites and on third-party websites that participate in these ad networks. This process also helps us track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. To the extent required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before using your information for interest-based advertising.

Google advertising and consent choices
Where we use Google advertising technologies, including Google Ads and Google Analytics advertising features, your cookie choices help determine how those technologies operate on our Sites.
If you consent to advertising cookies, Google advertising technologies may use cookies, similar technologies, and advertising identifiers to measure ad performance, attribute conversions, support bidding, build or update audiences, and show you advertising that may be tailored to your interests or previous activity on our Sites.
If you do not consent to advertising cookies, we will not use those technologies to place advertising cookies for personalised advertising or remarketing where consent is required. Depending on your choices and our configuration, Google may still receive limited, cookieless signals about your interaction with our Sites for purposes such as aggregated measurement and conversion modelling, where permitted by applicable law. These signals are intended to help measure advertising effectiveness without using advertising cookies or identifying you for personalised advertising.

Links to Third-Party Sites, Apps and Services
For your convenience and information, our Sites may provide links to third-party sites, apps and services that may be operated by companies not affiliated with ManpowerGroup. Information collected through third-party plug-ins and widgets on the Sites (such as information relating to your use of a social media sharing tool) is collected directly by the providers of the plug-ins and widgets. These companies may have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly suggest you review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any non-ManpowerGroup sites, apps or services.
